Jean-Claude's History

Jean-Claude was born into a house with a dirt floor. He was a french peasant and a lady of a large manor chose him to be a whipping boy for their only son because he was fair of face. She paid money to his parents and took him. He was the son's constant companion. When the son had clothes made so did Jean-Claude, they shared the same tutor, riding instructor, swordplay, dancing, and the proper way to eat at table. But when the son was bad, Jean-Claude was punished and still bears the whip scars on his back.

Jean-Claude's maker sought him out because his beauty called to her. When Jean-Claude was a young vampire he was a catamite for any vampire that would have him. He was passed around among them, when one grew tired of him, he was passed along to the next. He was given to Seraphina by another master vampire and had no choice in the matter.
